Dear Mr. President

So a lot has changed in my life and I haven't wanted to leave my sweet boyfriend Tyler long enough to blog, but I absolutely had to share this letter my nephew wrote today. Please enjoy!!

Dear Barak Obama,

Before you try or if you already have raised the taxes please think about this. Say some kids in a family and their parents have been saving to buy their very first TV or computer and they could only use it once a month because they were kind of poor but they were happy. Then the taxes raised too high and they couldn't use it at all. I have seen the rise of ordinary people in my 11-year life, if you or if you already have raised the taxes I may see them fall and become homeless or me myself may become homeless I would like you to think about this.

My Sisters Always Copy Me

I am the fifth of eight children (my brothers aren't in this photo). My older sisters are slightly older than me, you know 6 to 10 years, this leaves a little bit of a generation gap.

Being the younger sister I tend to find the cool, new, hip things. My sisters will spend months making fun of my new discoveries then suddenly will realize how cool they are and copy me.

Now I know they will refuse to believe this so here are a two examples:

Flared Jeans: I started wearing these in Junior High and they said I looked like a hippy. Time goes by and all three of my sisters are wearing them.

Pointy Toe Shoes: When I bought my first pair my sisters called me a witch, but a while later they had them in their closets too.

The latest theft...blogging. When I started my blog there were always little comments about it, "Are you going to put this on your blog?" and "Where is Jessica? Probably blogging." Now my sisters have blogs and they love it! They are totally out doing me. It is all they want to do and talk about. I have to become a better blogger so I will have something to talk to my sisters about!

I have become the worst blogger ever!! My life has been crazy lately. I feel like all I can do is get through the day, that leaves nothing left for blogging. I just wanted to put another link for Carter's Blog. He had his surgery and Jamie has posted many updates. Please read a little about what he has been going through. He is my hero! I am so proud of him. I think when they get home I'll be more like myself and ready to blog again!!
